My memo board needs work.
It’s currently restricted by the charming drawings from my niece and nephew. They are visiting tomorrow, and they are happy to see their artwork displayed.
So, until then…
February 2012 highlights:
unexpected, but fun work trip to Los Angeles for a conference

October 2011 highlights:
Sockerbit - yummy Swedish candy

Drinks with a dear friend at The Modern
Some memorable meals in May 2011:

delightful birthday cake truffles at Momofuku Milk Bar

And, I restarted my subscription to Smithsonian — one of my favorite magazines
A bit late, but my page for April 2011:
left a job for a new job
Easter chocolates
crafting with my niece
Not to mention a trip to London and France
Busy, but pleasant memories
I took a trip to London and Paris.
Though April isn’t quite over yet, I wanted to devote a separate part of the scrapbook to the trip. The pages and photos don’t capture my full experience there, but I wanted to document them here somehow.
Paris, in particular, was incredible.
My current memo board that hangs above my desk.
It’s a bit outdated, but it brings back many happy memories:
A Trip to Barcelona:
Drinking hot chocolate at Granja Dulcinea
Delightful late lunch at Café de l’Academia
Mirò Museum
A lazy Sunday afternoon at La Pedrera
My first international solo trip
A Trip to San Francisco:
A very, very dear friend
Tasty soft tacos and Mexican Coke at El Metate
San Francisco weather
An indulgent dinner at Babbo
The chicken liver toast at ABC Kitchen
A Trip to Madrid:
El Prado
Resting at the Plaza de Oriente
Serrano ham
Any visit to Idlewild Books
I should probably transfer the board into a scrapbook, but the hanging flash drives and necklaces will remain. Perhaps the “optimism” Metrocard too.
